Description
Some cattle purchased through W. B. Mitchell's son from the C. E. Conring Ranch, near Marfa, Texas, which are on feed at the farm of Ernest L. Gwinn, near Lapel, Indiana. Gwinn purchased 114 steer calves from the Conring ranch in the fall of 1940. In the foreground is a feeding trough. In the background is a silo and a barn.
