Description

Greenwood Cemetery Association has taken $5,000 in Series G defense bonds for the association's endowment fund. Frank Fillingim, center, vice president and general manager of the association, and Tom James, right, attorney for the fund, are shown purchasing the bonds from J. B. Hamilton, left, vice president and trust officer of First National Bank. Mr. James and Mr. Hamilton are sitting at a desk and Mr. Fillingim is standing between them. They are all wearing suits. There are sheets of paper, an ashtray and a poster on the desk. The poster reads: "Defense Bonds/ Buy United States Savings Bonds And Stamps/ On Sale At Your Post Office Or Bank." On the poster is an image of a soldier.
