Thirty-five soldiers from Camp Wolters are being entertained in Fort Worth, Texas. John Farrell, standing left, kibitzes a backgammon game played by the Camp Wolters musicans. Seated, left to right, are Sergeant Winston Greene, Private Edward Grimm, and Private Ray Goff. Standing beside Farrell are Corporal John Mensinger and Private Frank Amodio. Mr. Farrell, the county USO chairman, is smoking a cigarette. He is dressed in a striped button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. Sergeant Greene, of Westwood, California, plays the saxophone. He is wearing a suit without the blazer. Private Grimm, of Brooklyn, New York, also plays the saxophone. He is wearing a t-shirt and trousers. Private Goff, of Warren, Ohio, is a trumpeter. He is wearing a t-shirt and trousers. Corporal Mensinger of Cleveland, Ohio, fronts the Camp Wolters band. He is dressed in a t-shirt and trousers. Private Amodio, of Kent, Ohio, plays the horn.
