The Texas Wesleyan Rams football team is preparing for the opening game of the college football season. They are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys, who were undefeated in the 1940 season. One of the leading men for the Rams is Kave King, a blocking back. He is shown working on his technique during practice. King is dressed in a number 44 football uniform and a helmet.
