She's Just One of 30,000 Going Back to School But Wednesday to Be Big Day for Her. Jenny Lind Porter is preparing to start the 1941 school year at Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas. She is thrilled over prospect of being a senior high school student. Jenny is laying on her stomach on the living room rug, reading a book, one of her favorite pastimes. The thirteen year old girl also designs dresses, and is learning to play the clarinet. She is wearing a striped button-up dress. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition September 9, 1941.
