Description
Marshal's Duties Are Tough. U. S. Marshal James Wright is shown escorting the "Navy Blue" Sextet on a train through Fort Worth and into Dallas, Texas. He is blocking the group, guns in both hands, as they board the train. He is dressed in a hat, suit, and cowboy boots. In the photograph immediately above the officer is smiling Peggy Diggins; above her, posed on the train steps are Alice Talton and Lorraine Gettman. The blonde at the top is Georgia Carroll, who was a Fort Worth visitor during the premiere of "The Westerner." Below her is Kay Aldridge. Standing immediately behind Wright is Marguerite Chapman. They will perform Saturday in Fort Worth at City Hall. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition September 6, 1941.
