The Johaningsmeir Family recently moved to Fort Worth, Texas from Elmhurst, Illinois. The family, minus Mr. Johaningsmeir, is sitting on the front porch of their new home. Left to right, on the front row are, Mary Jo, Shirley, and Mrs. H. A. Johaningsmeir. On the back row are Wendell and Marshall. Marshall will leave in a few days to attend the University of Illinois. Mr. Johaningsmeir (not pictured) is employed by the Federal Power Commission. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition September 8, 1941.
