The Texas Christian University locker room is bustling with excitement as the Frogs prepare for the 1941 football season. A pair of veterans are shown waving from the doorway as they arrive for duty. They are left to right Leonard Pugh and Joe Rogers. Pugh is a 207-pound lineman from North Side High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers. Rogers is a lettered guard from New London, Texas. He is wearing a hat, button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 5, 1941.
