Description

The North Side High School football team is preparing for the start of the 1941 season. Members of the Steers prospective starting backfield, pictured left to right, are Tommy Wilson, Twain Morrow, Lloyd Miles, and Dean Roberson. Wilson (45) is a two-way player. He plays fullback on offense and linebacker on defense. Morrow (17) is the passing quarterback. Miles (21) is a 150-pound back. Roberson (46) is a scat back. The Steers are shown running a play. Morrow is dropping back to pass while the others are blocking. They are dressed in their football uniforms and helmets. The field is edged with chain-link fence and trees are visible in the distance.
