    Description

Waitresses from the Worth and Westbrook Hotels are taking a four week course on the finer points of serving gourmet foods. The course is sponsored by the State Vocational Education Department and the University of Texas. Practicing their winning smiles, left to right, are Mrs. Lola Smith and Mrs. Ruby Purser. They were each named the most efficient waitresses at their respective hotels. Mrs. Smith, of the Westbrook Hotel, is wearing a hat, blouse, and a checkered blazer. Mrs. Purser, of the Worth Hotel, is wearing a hat and a button-up blouse with floral embroidery detailing on the collar and sleeves.
