These girls gathered at River Crest Country Club Tuesday to talk about life on the campus of Lindenwood College, Saint Charles, Missouri. These six girls will be freshmen this year [1941]. Sitting in the front row, left to right, are Miss Ann Fite, Miss Betty Bean and Frances Ann Arthur. Standing behind the front row, from left to right, are Miss Mary Olive Woodward, Miss Jean Vaughn, and Miss Maxine Taylor. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition September 7, 1941.
