Description
A gun battle took place Sunday night at a Fort Worth, Texas, residence between Fort Worth police officers and a murder suspect. Seventy-five-year-old G. D. Driskill killed his wife (Mrs. G. D. Driskill), Mrs. Fannie Moore, and Mrs. Leola Jordan. Police responded to the scene after a call from a neighbor. Radio Patrolman John L. Nash approached the house and was critically wounded by Mr. Driskill. A few minutes later, the police officers employed tear gas, and the gun battle ended when Mr. Driskill was fatally wounded.
