    Description

    Amateur boxers from all over Texas are in Fort Worth to compete in the Golden Gloves State tournament at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Among the first to arrive are left to right Bob Weaver, Judge D. B. Jay, and Ruffin Rhome. They are representing Midland, Texas. Weaver is a flyweight. He is wearing a dress shirt, coat, and trousers. Judge Jay is a judge in Loving County. He brought the boys to Fort Worth, including his son Dexter Jay (not pictured). The judge is wearing suit. Rhome is a featherweight for Midland. He is dressed in a double breasted suit, without a necktie.
