Description

New officers of Sigma Omicron Sigma sorority were installed at the home of the new president, Miss Doris Belle Hill, on August 28, 1941. The officers are, left to right, Misses Hill, Billie Barbour (vice president), Emily Stedman (secretary), June Knepper (treasurer and reporter), Nancy Keith (pledge mistress) and Peggy Maynard (parliamentarian). The girls are standing in front of a blank wall. Miss Hill is wearing a dress with lace trim along the shoulders and sleeves. Miss Barbour is wearing a striped dress and a bow in her hair. Miss Stedman is wearing a dress with a star pattern. Miss Knepper is wearing a blouse and a striped skirt with a belt. Miss Keith is wearing a striped dress with a belt. Miss Maynard is wearing a floral print dress and a bow in her hair.
