Privates W. H. Newton, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Roy B. Gamble and Ray J. Gamble, twins from Blanket, Texas, shown manning a.30 caliber machine gun. The trio are lying on the ground on their stomachs. One of the Gambles is holding up the machine gun while the other holds the ammo sleeve. All are wearing their military uniform and helmets. Behind them, far left, an unnamed soldier is knelt down on the ground.
