Description
First Methodist Church is hosting a watermelon party. Inspecting some of the watermelons are, left to right, Curtis Thomas, Miss Maybell Criner, and Roy Rose. Mr. Thomas is cutting the watermelon. He is dressed in a collared shirt, necktie and trousers. Miss Criner is chairman of the ways and means committee. She is wearing a dark dress. She is shown offering a slice of the melon to Mr. Rose, the class president. He is dressed in a striped button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves, a necktie, and trousers.
