Youngsters at W. J. Turner School, left to right, Madeline Ryan, David Finney and Burton Ed Lasater, had an opportunity to ask a "prince" and "princess" for an autograph when the Junior League gave the first of 10 free public school performances of "Rapunzel". The "prince" is Mrs. Edwin T. Phillips Junior and the "princess" is Mrs. Harry Porter. They are both the league's cast, in prince and princess costumes. The play was given at Washington Heights and is scheduled for Denver Avenue and other schools through February 28. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 15, 1940.
