Description
Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Norman have made a regular practice of hosting soldier guests for Sunday dinner in their home. Other Fort Worth, Texas, residents can arrange for soldier guests by contacting United Service Organization (U. S. O.) headquarters. Seated clockwise around the dining table are Bobby Norman (10 years old), Harold Farrington (14 years old), Sergeant Anthony A. Abrutz, Ann Norman (four years old), Sergeant Paul Johnson and Private Sam Corea. Mrs. Norman is standing behind Sergeant Abrutz, placing a platter of fried chicken on the table. Mrs. Norman and Ann are wearing dresses. Bobby and Harold are wearing collared shirts. The servicemen are wearing their military uniforms. They are all of the 52nd Training Battalion, Camp Wolters. On the back wall is a portrait painting of a young boy.
