Major Robert M. Patterson, commander of Fort Worth Recreational Area, as he studied the layout with Park Superintendent Adams of the six-acre site of a rest camp to be constructed in Sycamore Park for visiting soldiers. The two men are standing outside in a field with a few trees in the background. Major Patterson is wearing a military uniform and Superintendent Adams is wearing a suit and hat. Major Patterson has a large file filled with papers tucked under his left arm.
