Description
Bob Hawkins is a 33-year-old fireman in Fort Worth, Texas. He is planning to take defense courses in the fall to develop his latent talents. Mr. Hawkins studied civil engineering for two years at North Texas Agricultural College beginning in 1929. He later joined the fire department in 1932. The government's defense engineering training program is 12 weeks long and is sponsored by Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College. Mr. Hawkins is shown standing in front of a wall, dressed in a striped button-up shirt.
