Description
Mrs. James A. Jones, of Fort Worth, Texas, has a porcelain and gold leaf falcon table made in France around the year 1754. The center of the table is Sevres porcelain depicting a lady riding sidesaddle on a white horse. A falcon is on her fist and a hunting dog is shown running nearby. The table is rimmed with ten porcelain medallions picturing notable French figures - Louis XIV, Louis XV, and Marie Antoinette. Mrs. Jones acquired the table from an auction in Pennsylvania.
