College girls wearing "Sloops," designed by Miss Betty Suggett, a student at Randolph-Macon College in Virginia are (left to right) Jane Chizum, Stephens College; Ernestine Christy, Texas Wesleyan College; Jayne Miller, National Park; Peggy Fite, Texas Christian University; Mary Adele Landreth, Miss Finch's in New York; Anna Ruth Ashe, Texas State College for Women: Betty Suggett, Randolph-Macon College and Emily Ann Maco, Texas Tech. All eight college girls standing outside side by side, will carry back to their campuses suits that bear on the back of it their names and colleges.
