Description
An exterior shot of the Delaware Hotel is pinned to a corkboard. The picture shows the exterior of the Delaware Hotel in 1895. The building is four stories tall. Two horse-drawn carriages (stagecoaches) are parked out front. There are two men in hats surrounding the building along with telephone poles and wires. A sign with "Delaware" is hanging outside. On the first floor, there is a store called "Winter and Daniel Company". In 1908 the Delaware Hotel and surrounding land was purchased to make room for a bigger hotel. The Westbrook Hotel opened in 1910 and was at it's busiest during the oil boom in the early 1900s.
