Description
Jack Thompson is pointing to "Jack's Beanstalk," a maverick plant that grew through a hole in the sidewalk in front of his grocery store. The plant started when lima beans were spilled last summer and some of them fell into a hole on the sidewalk. This summer the plant is 20-feet high and has provided Mr. Thompson and his neighbors several servings of beans. Mr. Thompson is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, and trousers.
