The Sixth Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. Beeves closely resembling the original cattle brought to the XIT Ranch are shown in a field. These steers, particularly the spotted one in the foreground, are typical of the early-day steers that trailed from Texas to the Northwest.
