152 Star-Telegram carrier salesmen enjoyed a full day's outing at Glen Rose, Texas. Pictured here are some boys swimming in the pool. From left to right, in the foreground, are Abney Cooper, Bruce Roberson, Max Sheahan, Homer Cline, Louis McDaniel and Ralph Pruden, who took first place in a newspaper folding contest. One other unidentified boy is in behind the group. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 31, 1941.
