Three hundred Tarrant County 4-H Club girls gathered at Sycamore Park for their annual outing. Members who attended learned handicraft skills taught by Jennie Mae Boyer, of Bedford, Texas (seated, far right). Learning how to weave hotplate pads from cotton string are Mrs. Beulah Eastwood, of Saginaw, Texas (seated, left), Lila Ruth Gillen, of Saginaw (standing, left), Ollie B. Hudgins, of Crowley, Texas (standing, center), and Anita Halbert, of Crowley (standing, right). All five women are wearing patterned dresses.
