Description
Arlington, Texas, residents contributed three truckloads of aluminum when Boy and Girl Scouts visited them in a one-day collection on July 21, 1941. The girls' organization sponsored the work under leadership of Mrs. Daniel Brawley. Some of the scouts at the collection site were Roy Jarus, Violet Shackelford, Naomi Jarus, Ruth Thornton and Merlie Montgomery.
