Mrs. James C. Roberts, the former Margaret Liston, was married April 15, 1941. She is sitting at a table, playing a game of bridge. She is wearing a light-colored dress and a bow in her hair. Her nails are painted. She is holding a hand of cards in her left hand and a single card in her right hand. On the table are three cards and a score sheet. The cards are a Queen of Diamonds, Ace of Diamonds, and a Six of Diamonds. In the background is a lamp atop an end table. Also on the end table is a clock and a birdbath figurine.
