Police Chief Howard led this group of policemen aboard an American Airlines plane for a 30-minute ride as a reward for their record of politeness. Left to right are Chief Howard, Lieutenant R. R. Howerton, B. F. Stevens, F. L. Schnell, J. D. Dunwoody, C. C. Carmichael, C. S. Hightower, C. C. Dews, W. J. Ewing, Sam McGee, H. W. Carter, D. W. Stephenson and N. C. Potter. The policemen are lined up, waiting to board the plane. They are wearing their police uniforms.
