    Description

Berlin House Furnishings Follow Refugee Couple -- Mister and Misses Ted Samosch, Jewish refugees who escaped from Germany during the Holocaust and are now living in Fort Worth, Texas. Their home at 2556 Cockrell Avenue reflect a bit of old Germany which they have transplanted into Fort Worth. Their furniture was shipped from Berlin after payment of a heavy tax. Mrs. Samosch is shown here with some of these furniture. She reclines on an odd-shaped living room couch in the adjoining room and reading a magazine. There is a matching armchair in the corner. The table in front of her and the balloon-shaped lamp in the corner also formerly graced the couple's spacious Berlin home. Mrs. Samosch is dressed well. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 10, 1941.
