Description
John Sherman (center), president of Fort Worth Florists Club, and Will J. Baker, district representative of Floral Telegraph Delivery Association, shown with sign they will take to the State Florists convention at San Antonio. Mrs. Sally Tillery, Chamber of Commerce receptionist, is at their left. All three are holding the banner that reads "FT. Worth Next" to send the message of "Come to Fort Worth in 1942" at the convention. Both men are wearing suits and ties and eyeglasses. Mrs. Tillery is wearing a jacket and skirt ensemble. Behind them is a tiled wall. The association last met in Fort Worth, Texas in 1937 and is due to meet there again as the city is considered a center of floral activity.
