The Morton Family Reunion is being held over the Fourth of July holiday in Fort Worth, Texas. A mother and all eleven of her children are together for the first time at the reunion. Pictured left to right, on the front row, are Mrs. Nora Morton (the mother), Clyde E. Morton (Fort Worth), Mrs. Eunice Adcock (Comanche, Texas), and Fred E. Morton (Fort Worth). On the second row are A. J. Morton (San Gabriel, California), Mrs. Velma Morris (Lubbock, Texas), Mrs. Nona B. Besozzi (San Francisco, California), and Tom Morton (Abilene, Texas). On the back row are Mrs. Jerry Fincher (Fort Worth), Harry Morton (Coleman, Texas), Mrs. Gene Bolt (Brownwood, Texas), and Joseph E. "Billy" Morton (Fort Worth). Clyde Morton is the oldest sibling at 46 years old, and Billy is the youngest at 19. The family is posed outdoors, with several trees in the background.
