"New officers of W. A. W. Club who were recently installed, include, front, left to right, Misses Betty June Thompson, reporter; Mary Helen Journey, business manager; Mary Jean Durham, president; Patsy Bode, parliamentarian; Ruth Steinhauser, vice president; and Vickie Moran, treasurer. In the back, from left to right, Jean Gibbs, recording secretary; Junene Doak, pledge mistress; and Sue Moore, corresponding secretary." The young women on either end of the front row, Miss Thompson and Miss Moran, are sitting on the the grass. The other four young women are sitting either in a lawn chair or on the arm of a lawn chair. The three young women in the back row are standing just behind them. The group is positioned between two houses, which are seen in the background, along with some foliage."
