Description
The observance of the Fourth of July in Fort Worth, Texas, is a mixture of patriotic affairs and recreation of many forms. Brigadier General J. Watt Page, adjutant general of Texas, is visiting Farrington Field. He wearing a Summer white dress uniform. He is shown reviewing the 27th Battalion, Texas Defense Guard. In the foreground, left to right, are Mayor I. N. McCrary and Major John W. Herbert. Mayor McCrary is the mayor of Fort Worth. He is dressed in a hat and a double breasted suit. Major Herbert is the battalion commander. He is wearing a military uniform.
