Mary Hallett Fry of Marshall, Texas, left, who is the guest of Betty Claire Schmid, Fort Worth, Texas. The women were previously roommates at Wellesley College. They are standing on a stairway landing. There is an arrangement of flowers sitting on a newell. Both women are wearing patterned dresses. Their is a closed door behind them and a painting o the wall, also behind them. This photograph was published in the July 13, 1941 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
