Image shows "Gone With the Wind" opening night was held at the Hollywood Theatre, Thursday night in Fort Worth, Texas. Arriving at the theater is a horse-drawn carriage that Scarlett O'Hara might have used. Alighting from the carriage are from left to right, Miss Margaret McCarthy and her escort O. J. Butts Junior. Miss Laura Jones is stepping down from carriage while David Lee is assisting. The group is dressed in period clothing. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 9, 1940.
