Shown here are two members of the Optimisses Club. From left to right, are Mrs. Wheeler Worley and Mrs. Lillian McKeen. The Optimisses Club is sponsoring a community clubroom for girls in Polytechnic, Fort Worth, Texas. The full name of this club is Polytechnic Girls' Community Center, under the direction of Mrs. Lillian McKeen. Girls from age six to sixteen can attended free classes or gather to play after school. Mrs. Worley is the chairman of the committee from the Optimesses Club. She is dressed in a hat, scarf, and a coat. Mrs. McKeen is the director of the club. She is also a teacher at the Community Center, offering classes in cooking, sewing, and knitting. She is wearing a button-up dress and a coat.
