Description

Executive committeemen of the Association of Texas Colleges met Saturday at Hotel Texas and chose Fort Worth as site for their 1942 convention next April. Committeemen present were, seated, left to right, Registrar D. A. Shirley of West Texas State Teachers College, Canyon; Dean Thomas E. Ferguson, Stephen F. Austin State Teachers, Nacogdoches, and Dean O. A. Ullrich, Southwestern University, committee chairman and association president. Standing, Dean C. A. Puckett, Texas College of Mines, El Paso, at left, and President W. H. Elkins, San Angelo Junior College. All men are wearing suits in various colors, belts, and neckties. Elkines and Ullrich are wearing eyeglasses. In the background is a wood grain paneled wall. In the foreground is the table the men are sitting at with various papers and a clipboard on it.
