While on furlough from Camp Wolters, Private Joseph Kotler is getting the assistance of Mrs. Elmer G. Withers. Mrs. Withers is the hostess at the USO headquarters, Hotel Texas. She is helping Private Kotler study the train schedule and is suggesting the best method of travel. Private Kotler is dressed in his military uniform. Mrs. Withers is wearing a button-up dress. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, June 28, 1941.
