Description
Dickens County is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the county's organization at the the Spur Roundup and Rodeo. In attendance, left to right, are Mrs. Sally Taylor and Mrs. Punk Snyder. They placed second and third, respectively, in the cowgirl sponsor contest. Both women are shown on horseback. Mrs. Taylor, of Stacy, Texas, is wearing a cowboy hat, button-up shirt, trousers, and cowboy boots. Mrs. Snyder, of Melvin, Texas, is wearing a cowboy hat, western shirt, and a bandanna.
