Description
Image shows high water at Eagle Mountain Lake. View of the John Roach Camp at Eagle Mountain Lake, nearly covered by high water. The camp could only be reached by boat. Water stood more than two feet over the first floor level and docks extending from the front of the camp were submerged under four feet of water. A cabin is shown surrounded by water that indicates the high water level. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition June 12, 1941.
