Description
Mrs. Fannie Pitzer Gordon is sitting on a chair, dressed in a Spanish costume with an dark elaborate long veil head dress. Mrs. Gordon is representing Spain with vocal selections at the international Mardi Gras held by the Euterpean Club which took place in the Woman's Club. The program consisted of French, Romanian, Spanish, Mexican, American and African American songs and dances executed in costume. There were about 150 members and guests in attendance. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 7, 1940.
