Description
Communications personnel of the 36th Division at Camp Bowie engaged in command post exercises. Private James B. Houston, of Beaumont, Texas, and Private John N. Kennerd, of Fort Worth, Texas, members of the headquarters company of the 144th Infantry, are splicing a half-mile spool of wire onto the line extending to regimental command post in the rear. They are standing outside, wearing their military uniforms. There is a tree directly behind them and farther in the background are more trees.
