Description

A banquet and dance were given at Stamford Saturday night for the 19 flying students who completed the first training period at Arledge-Stamford Field and will enter the basic air corps training school at Randolph Field for the second of the three stages leading to pilot ratings and commissions at second lieutenants. Here are Miss Billie Blanche Smith of Abilene and Robert M. Ferguson, flying student from Wisconsin, admiring a miniature chuck wagon. Both are standing next to each other, holding the chuck wagon.
