Young women from Fort Worth, Texas, attended a dance at Camp Bowie. Shown sitting down at a table during the festivities are Miss Dorothy Williams, left, and Private Curtis M. Polk, of the Antitank Company, 141st Infantry. Private Polk is wearing his military uniform. Miss Williams is wearing a floral print dress and a sash that reads, "Fort Worth." She is holding a cigarette in her right hand. On the table is an ashtray, a napkin dispenser and a container of sugar.
