    Description

    As an honorary degree of doctor of literature was conferred Monday on Mrs. Ben J. Tillar of Fort Worth by Texas Wesleyan College (TWC). President Law Sone (right) of the college is shown presenting the degree, after Mrs. Tillar had been introduced by J. W. Mitchell (center), Fort Worth, during the fiftieth annual commencement in the Fine Arts auditorium. Everyone in the picture is wearing graduation gown and cap.
