Description
Three members of Girl Scout Troop Number 2, looking at relics displayed at a silver tea which the troop gave last week at the home of Mrs. Harry Weeks in Westover Hills. Nancy Day (left) examines an old-fashioned lamp. Ruthie Martin (center) holds a candlestick made from the original ruins of the Alamo. Charlotte Anne West holds a lamp that was used in former days to light cabins. It burned bear oil. The trio stand in front a quilt made in 1840. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 2, 1941.
