Commencement exercises will be held at First Baptist Church for the 429 students who have completed courses of study at country rural schools which do not have high school courses. County Superintendent Roach will present Betty Sue Thornton, 13, of Rendon, Texas, valedictorian. George Wilkins, operator of the watch department at Haltom's jewelry store will present a wrist watch to Miss Thornton.
