Description

In school burlesque melodrama. "The World Again Her," a burlesque melodrama in verse, will be staged by the women at B. H. Carroll School at 8 p. m. Friday. The actresses are shown here. Seated, left to right, Mrs Elbert Priddy, Mrs. T. L. McClellan and Mrs. J. D. Garrison. Behind them are Mrs. Joe Hughes, left, and Mrs. Eugene Taylor. The play, directed by Miss Thelma McBrayer, will be included in entertainment to be sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Association and the Preschool organization. Mrs. R. E. Burmeister is general chairman of arrangements for the evening of songs, dances, accordion music and candy selling. The cast are pictured in costumes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 15, 1941.
